Grei is a unique range of high performance, innovative soundproofing, suitable for high quality building applications particularly when used with underfloor heating systems. The use of a unique EPDM rubber and the unique distribution of granules on a floor surface ensure excellent elasticity making it the ideal solution for impact noise through floors. This strong and resilient mat adapts perfectly to floor surfaces and is extremely easy to install.

Grei is also manufactured using technology that ensures a low environmental impact making the product very eco-friendly. A waterproof version - Grei PTB is also available. Impact sound reduction values of up to 30dB is possible using the Grei series of sound insulation mats.

Grei Impact Sound Insulation and Hollowcore Flooring

 

Where precast flooring is being installed we recommend the use of a floating screed for optimum sound insulation. Grei G5 installed under the screed it has an impact sound reduction improvement (∆Lw) of up to 29dB. When using Grei on precast hollowcore floors as illustrated below, Grei excels in performance. When using with underfloor heating systems place the soundproofing mat underneath the underfloor heating pipes and then place your screed.

Grei 8 Impact Sound Insulation and Hollowcore Flooring

 

Grei 8 installed under the screed it has an impact sound reduction improvement (∆Lw) of up to 30dB. When using Grei on precast hollowcore floors as illustrated below, Grei excels in performance. In this example of a typical detail for an apartment type project we can see that Grei 8 provides exceptional impact sound insulation.
