Sylwood is an innovative, high performance product ideal for acoustically upgrading existing buildings during renovation or new installation of wooden floors. Sylwood is a high density, low thickness recycled rubber mat made of SBR and cork granules, that dampens and absorbs noise transmission from footfall and other types of impact noise.
It is laid directly onto existing concrete screeds ready to receive the new wooden or laminate floor.
Sylwood has an impact sound insulation improvement value of 20dB when it and the wooden floor are loose laid and an improvement value of 17dB when it and the wooden floor are glued using a suitable adhesive.

Acoustic insulation supplied in rolls and produced using granules of SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) and Cork compacted using a polyurethane adhesive in a hot process. The colour of the product is black and brown and is supplied in rolls 20m long, 1.00m wide. Density is 700 kg/m2.
